Dr Sue Crossman

Dr Sue Crossman has a nursing background and has held senior posts in health services management, education and research. She is an experienced facilitator and coach, working with individuals and organisations, particularly in relation to strategic planning and effective partnership working. Sue’s main focus for education and research has been nursing in General Practice, where she worked for many years. Her PhD thesis explored how a variety of organisational factors in General Practice affect the evolution of the role of the nurse. Sue maintains strong links with the NHS and continues to be involved in National nursing initiatives, as well as providing support to Primary Care Networks and General Practices.

Marie Franklin

Marie has worked in Primary Care for 13 years in various roles including Practice Management, Project Manager, Operations Manager and currently as an Operations Director for three practices in Hayes and Harlington.

She is also the Workforce Lead for non-clinical staff training in Hillingdon, working for the Con Federation on a part time basis, helping practices and PCN’s upskill their workforce and also developing and supporting other Practice Managers, Business Managers and Receptionists/Administrators.

Marie’s background is in HR and Facilities Management in a retail environment and Marie is passionate about providing excellent service to patients and helping to sign post them to the most appropriate clinician or service.

She has written a series of Competency booklets for Receptionists which have been adopted by a number of CCG’s around the country.

Marie is a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development, is a MIROS practitioner and she also tutors on the LMC’s Practice Managers Development Course.

Emma Harvey

Emma Harvey has over 16 years Administrative, Project Support & EA experience working for various health based organisations, charities, and independent consultants in both the not for profit and private sectors. She is also a website & graphic designer, with extensive marketing experience; managing various social media and marketing projects. Emma has a BA (Hons) in English Literature and been working as a self-employed freelance Administrator since 2010. Emma is located in Kent and works virtually from her home for clients based in London, and around the UK.
